The aim of this Commission (Commission des relations avec les usagers et de la qualité de la prise en charge), which monitors relationships with users and quality of care, is to ensure that patient rights are respected. To this end, it helps improve the policy for receiving and caring for the sick and their family members.
La commission des usagers

This Commission includes a chairman, arbitrators and their deputies, and representatives of associations and their alternates. This compulsory composition is supplemented at Institut Curie by a medical doctor representing the institution’s Medical Board and standing invitees, including the director of the hospital and the quality manager.

Analysis of complaints received

The Commission meets on a regular basis and makes recommendations to improve patient care. To this end, it examines written complaints sent to the hospital’s management and remarks taken from discharge questionnaires and satisfaction surveys.

If you believe that you have been wronged or if you have an unresolved problem with your contacts and their managers, you can send a letter to: Directeur de l'Hôpital de l'Institut Curie - 26, rue d'Ulm - 75248 Paris cedex 05.

The Director will respond directly and may submit your complaint to the Commission des Relations avec les Usagers. If appropriate, he or she will suggest that you meet with an arbitrator from the Commission.
