Functions within Institut Curie
Presentation
I am a clinical biochemist and Ph.D. specialist in immunology. I completed my undergraduate and Ph.D. studies at the National University of Córdoba, Argentina, and joined Institut Curie in 2017 with a focus on tumor immunology and translational research. Currently, I am engaged in my post-doctoral project within Eliane Piaggio's group, working alongside our bioinformaticians Wilfrid Richer and Yoann Missolo.
Our project is centered on uncovering the distinctive traits of tumor-specific Tregs and substantiating the role of lymph nodes in cancer immunity using single-cell OMICS. In an effort to translate our findings into clinical applications, I actively contributed to a target discovery platform that revealed novel therapeutic targets for Tregs, now followed by Egle Therapeutics, a spin-out from Institut Curie. Additionally, I've been fortunate to collaborate on various projects within the Institute and with esteemed external scientists. Despite gaining substantial knowledge in my career thus far, I acknowledge there is still much more to learn! I aspire to maintain curiosity, perseverance, collaboration, and gratitude, ensuring the continuation of this scientific adventure.
