Dr. Caroline Hoffmann is an otolaryngologist-head and neck oncology surgeon, spacialized in treating patients with cancer of the head or neck. She has experience in treating cancers of the oral cavity, pharynx, larynx, facial bones, neck, and thyroid, as well as skin cancer located on the head and neck. She is specialized in minimally invasive surgery, reconstruction, and microsurgery.

Dr. Hoffmann is involved in several clinical and translational research projects seeking to improve the treatment of these forms of cancer. She is a member of the U932 INSERM Immunity & Cancer Research Unit, in the team of Dr. Hélène Salmon. She has completed a PhD in cancer immunology and her studies focus particularly on the tumor microenvironment of head and neck cancers. She is a member of the steerings committees of UNICANCER  (head and neck cancer group and immuno-oncology group), and is a member of the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR).
