Physician Thibaut Cassou-Mounat has specialized in nuclear medicine at Institut Curie since 2016, and was previously chief resident with Paris VI University (UPMC) from 2013 to 2016.
Dr. Cassou-Mounat has a research-based master’s in imaging signal processing.
His work at Institut Curie comprises three types of activity: clinical practice, training/clinical research, and interdisciplinary work as part of multidisciplinary consultation meetings between ENT and Urology.
Although he is involved in all areas of oncology, his preferred fields are senology, urology, ENT, and the development of new imaging agents.
Dr. Cassou-Mounat’s short-term projects involve the development of radium treatments for prostate cancer as part of clinical research protocols, and the development of PET agents for breast imaging and pediatrics.
