Histology materials

The samples can be prepared and treated at the facility right from fixation through the sectioning and staining steps.

• All material for paraffin, agarose and cryo embedding
• three microtomes, one vibratome and two cryostats for sectioning.
• Video material: An Axio Imager Zeiss microscope (2,5X to 63X) with scan option and equipped with a camera and a workstation, is available to image and analyze slides in bright field or in fluorescence. The platform also possesses three magnifying glasses, with one of them being equipped with a GFP filter and a camera plus a workstation.
• Dako autostainer: The facility is equipped with an IHC automate DAKO AUTOSTAINER. Up to 48 slides can be simultaneously, and automatically, treated and stained. This instrument has a high level of reproducibility and the efficiency in term of number of IHC realized.
