A spirit of collaboration
Institut Curie is part of a rich environment in which it has developed numerous ties with universities and institutions, both nationally and abroad. It thus honors the pioneering and humanist spirit of Marie Curie.
Institut Curie is very much involved in the new French university landscape, in particular as a founding member of PSL. It is also forging partnerships on its three sites:
- At Saint Cloud, with Paris-Saclay and Versailles-Saint Quentin en Yvelines universities.
- In Paris, with Paris Descartes and UPMC universities.
- At Orsay, with Paris-sud and Paris-Saclay universities.
Institut Curie is also taking part in the PACRI project (Parisian alliance of oncology research centers).
Furthermore, a partnership signed in 2016 with Institut Pasteur is strengthening exchanges in international doctoral programs, in addition to the shared courses that have been on offer for several years.
Beyond our borders
The Research Center has developed a rich network of international relations. It is a member of the EU-Life network, which has 13 centers of excellence in life sciences. Together, the members of EU-Life help European doctoral students and post-docs to forge a career in Europe.
The Institut has also created individual partnerships with such internationally-renowned centers as MIT in Boston and the NCBS-inStem in Bangalore to promote and encourage exchanges between institutes, in particular concerning the training and support of doctoral students and post-docs.
The Research Center is playing an active part in advanced international training programs for young researchers, such as the Erasmus + Unipharma graduate project (formerly the Leonardo da Vinci program), the ITNs (International Training Networks) and St. George’s School.
