University Postgraduate Oncology Diplomas and Inter-University Diplomas
New treatments, new protocols and treatment methods, new technologies... To transmit their cutting-edge medical expertise in oncology, the clinical teams at Institut Curie organize various university degrees (DU) and inter-university degrees (DIU) in partnership with universities (Université Paris Cité, Sorbonne Université, Université de Versailles – Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines / Paris Saclay).
Initial training for doctors and paramedics
For medical students and interns
Institut Curie offers specialized courses in oncology for medical students from Université Paris Cité, Université Versailles-Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines / Paris Saclay, and Erasmus.  These are focused on the overall care of patients and on the items of the National Classification Tests (ECN).
Interns welcomed at Institut Curie also benefit from specific theoretical training within the institute's services/departments (seminars, meetings between researchers and doctors, etc.) and online courses.
For students in nursing and other paramedical fields
Nursing students and other paramedical courses (medical physicists, radiotherapy or imaging technicians, physiotherapists) are welcomed to the hospital sites of Institut Curie to receive training in the specificities of oncology.
Training in nursing
Specific training in cancer nursing is also offered to practicing caregivers, particularly independent practitioners working in homes.
