The generosity of each and every one is a powerful accelerator of progress. It is essential to continue our mobilization to beat cancer. It gives us the opportunity to go faster and further in our research and continue to develop new treatments. Thank you for your support!

Generosity, essential to fight cancer

In 2022, Institut Curie was able to count on the support of more than 232,000 donors, testators, patrons, partners, associations, companies, etc., which have allowed us to advance research and care for our patients. Institut Curie has devoted 94.7% of the total jobs recorded in the income statement to its social missions: care, research, teaching, and promoting its scientific heritage. As to the resources resulting from the generosity of the public in 2022, 81% were dedicated to social missions.

The origins of Institut Curie's resources are diverse. And donations are a crucial component of such resources. The generosity of the public allows us to act independently with considerable freedom of movement and to innovate at an early stage to benefit patients.

In 2022, we were lucky to have a solid base of supporters, convinced by the cause, who continued to accompany us despite the crises. Thanks to all the people involved, we have been able to attain the necessary funding to continue the research work that brings hope to all men, women, and children affected by cancer. Based on the principle of trust by which we are bound, we manage the funds you donate in a careful and transparent manner.

The Board of Directors and the Scientific Advisory Board are answerable for the ethics and excellence of our institute, and they ensure that your donations and bequests are invested in our research programs and go to help improve the quality of care provided to patients. Controlled and certified by an auditor, our accounts are published annually, and you can access them at any time.
