The technology transfer team

At Institut Curie, technology transfer activities are carried out by the Technology Transfer Office (TTO).

Equipe Tech Transfer

Headed by Cécile Campagne, the team is dedicated to:

  • The detection, development and protection of inventions made by Institut Curie researchers, doctors and caregivers;
  • Protecting the intellectual property of new inventions; 
  • Commercializing inventions by coordinating Institut Curie's industrial partnerships and supporting the creation of start-ups. 

It is also the department responsible for steering the Institut Carnot Curie Cancer.

Multi-level governance

To successfully carry out its missions, Institut Curie's TTO has set up a multi-level governance structure.

 

The Tech Transfer Committee

The Tech Transfer Committee, made up of doctors and researchers from Institut Curie, oversees the medical-scientific aspects of technology transfer projects, while strategic and operational management is provided by the TTO with support from the legal and finance departments.
