Multi-level governance
To carry out its missions, the Institut Curie's TTO has set up a multi-level governance structure. The Tech Transfer Committee, comprising doctors and researchers from Institut Curie, oversees the medical-scientific aspects of technology transfer projects, while strategic and operational management is provided by the TTO with support from the legal and finance departments. The Tech Transfer Advisory Committee, made up of specialists in technology transfer and innovation financing from around the world, challenges the Institute's technology transfer policy with a view to continuous improvement.
Internally, a network of Tech Transfer Ambassadors, made up of voluntary Institut Curie employees, helps to detect inventions more quickly in the laboratories.Â
