DANIEL HENRI ORBACH

Daniel Orbach is a pediatrician specializing in oncology. He heads up the Department of Pediatric, Adolescent, and Young-Adult Oncology at Institut Curie. He is a member of the French and European groups of doctors working on childhood and adolescent soft tissue sarcoma (SFCE [French Society of Childhood and Adolescent Cancers and Leukemia] committee and the EpSSG). He coordinates the French very rare childhood cancer group (“Fracture”) and is a founding member of the European group of pediatricians that care for young patients with very rare cancers (Expert Group).

He is also a member of the SFCE’s childhood malignant germ cell tumor (MGCT) committee.

Dr. Orbach is involved in several clinical and translational research projects seeking to improve the understanding and treatment of these forms of cancer.
