Presentation

Dr Mary Saad-Boutry, MD, PhD, is an anesthesiologist–intensivist practicing in comprehensive cancer centers. Her career is distinguished by a dual clinical and methodological expertise at the intersection of anesthesiology, biostatistics, and data science applied to medicine.

She leads and coordinates several national clinical research projects and has presented the results of her work at national and international conferences. She is a member of multiple professional societies in anesthesiology and critical care at the French, European, and North American levels.

She holds a PhD in biostatistics and data science and conducts her research within the STAMPM team of INSERM unit U1331, focusing on the analysis of clinical and medico-administrative data to improve care pathways. Her work relies on advanced statistical modeling methods, including longitudinal data analysis and multi-state models, applied to secondary data from clinical trials and healthcare data warehouses.

She has further expanded her expertise through advanced training at Harvard Medical School, with a focus on the strategy and implementation of artificial intelligence in healthcare.

At Institut Curie, Dr Saad serves as Chair of the Scientific Review and Validation Committee of the Department of Anesthesiology (GTT). She is also involved in the institution’s strategic committee and artificial intelligence expert group, contributing to the definition of institutional priorities in AI, data governance, and the responsible deployment of digital health tools.
