Researcher Professor
Presentation
As a former student of the École Normale Supérieure de Cachan (now ENS Paris‑Saclay), I obtained a PhD in Science from Université Paris 7–Denis Diderot in 1999, focusing on oncogenic transcription factors, following a doctoral fellowship carried out at the Institut Pasteur / Institut de Biologie de Lille. In 2000, I joined the Institut Curie in Orsay for a postdoctoral fellowship on transcriptional regulation during embryonic development. Appointed Assistant Professor at Université Paris 7–Denis Diderot in 2002 (now Université Paris Cité), I conducted research on the role of the CCN family of secreted proteins in tumor progression. I then returned to the Institut Curie in Orsay in 2009 to investigate the molecular bases of invasive ocular melanomas. Since 2020, I have been part of Olivier Ayrault’s team, where I study the molecular mechanisms underlying specific subgroups of medulloblastoma and work on the identification of targeted therapies.
