THOMAS GAILLARD

Dr. Thomas Gaillard has been a member of the Department of Breast, Reconstructive, and Gynecological Surgery at the Institut Curie since 2021. His clinical practice focuses on the management of patients with breast and gynecological cancers.

He studied at the Faculty of Medicine of Paris Descartes from 2008 to 2014, before being appointed as a medical resident in the Paris hospital network in 2014, where he completed his training in obstetrics and gynecology.

In 2021, he joined the Institut Curie as an Assistant Specialist until 2023, after which he became Chef de Clinique Assistant in the Department of Breast, Reconstructive, and Gynecological Surgery.

He also holds the European ESGO Diploma in Gynecologic Oncology and a Master’s degree in Public Health Research from Université Paris-Sud (2020).

Alongside his clinical work, he is involved in several research projects and contributes to the Women’s Cancer Institute (IHU Institut des Cancers des Femmes) at the Institut Curie as a member of the working group dedicated to new diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in surgery and interventional radiology. In this context, he plays an active role in structuring and automating clinical databases.
