Dr. Enora Laas has been a Hospital Practitioner in the Department of Breast, Reconstructive, and Gynecological Surgery at the Institut Curie since 2017. Her clinical practice focuses on the management of patients with breast and gynecological cancers.
She studied at the Faculty of Medicine of Montpellier-Nîmes from 2000 to 2006, before being appointed as a medical resident in the Paris hospital network in 2006, where she completed her training in obstetrics and gynecology.
In 2012, she became a Chef de Clinique Assistant at Tenon Hospital (Paris VI University), a position she held until 2015, before continuing at Trousseau Hospital in 2016. She joined the Institut Curie as an Assistant Specialist in November 2016 and was appointed Hospital Practitioner in the Department of Breast, Reconstructive, and Gynecological Surgery in 2017.
She also holds a Diploma of Advanced Specialized Studies in Oncology (2012), a Master’s degree in Epidemiology (2010), and a PhD in Health Services Research from Université Paris Cité (2025).
Alongside her clinical activity, she leads several research projects, including the SENTICOL IV clinical study, which aims to evaluate the omission of pelvic lymphadenectomy in patients with early-stage cervical cancer, and the CASEBA project, which seeks to create a multimodal, multicenter database on low-grade serous ovarian cancers to assess the impact of management in expert centers on prognosis.
She is also an integral member of the Women’s Cancer Institute (IHU Institut des Cancers des Femmes) at the Institut Curie, where she co-leads the working group dedicated to new diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in surgery and interventional radiology.
