Présentation

Dr. Youlia Kirova has been a specialist physician since 1993. She was chief resident at Paris XII University Faculty of Medicine and Henri Mondor Hospital from 1998 to 2002, and passed her hospital practitioner examination in 2003. Prior to this, she completed a fellowship at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas, as a specialist physician.

She has been a specialist practitioner at Institut Curie since 2005. In 2010 she was awarded research supervision accreditation in radiobiology and radiopathology from the Paris V University Faculty of Medicine, and she has supervised several graduate and postgraduate dissertations and theses. She is currently head of the senology and hematology group within the Department of Radiation Oncology at Institut Curie.

Dr. Kirova has also received recognition as a visiting professor at Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai, and will soon take the same post at Harvard. She belongs to several learned societies, including the European SocieTy for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO), the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), the International Lymphoma Radiation Oncology Group (ILROG) (steering committee member), the French Society of Radiation Oncology (SFRO), the FRancilian Oncogeriatric Group (FROG) (vice-president since the group was launched), the French Society of Senology and Breast Pathology (SFSMP), and the SKAGEN group. She is also an international professor involved in courses delivered by ESTRO (Multidisciplinary Breast Cancer Management, Evidence Based Radiation Oncology), ILROG, ESO, ESSO, and others.
