We are pleased to announce that Bruce Koppelman will share his professional journey with us. He obtained his PhD in immunology at Duke University Medical Center in North Carolina followed by postdocs at the University of California, San Francisco and at the DNAX Research Institute in Palo Alto in the United-States. He then worked as a research scientist at Johnson & Johnson in the San Francisco Bay Area before joining Cell Press, where he served as Senior Scientific Editor for more than a decade. Currently, he is Senior Scientific Editor at Immunity and Consulting Editor at Cell. In his talk, he will describe his path from basic research to editorial leadership and highlight the specific editorial practices of his journal.
