Institut Curie regulations on patient data and its re-use for research purposes
As part of your treatment at Institut Curie, our medical, nursing and administrative teams collect and store data or documents in your medical file, such as medical reports, X-ray images and sample results.Â
This data may also be re-used for research carried out by Institut Curie, in collaboration with academic and/or industrial partners.Â

In accordance with the regulations governing the processing of personal data (including the General Data Protection Regulation), you have the right to object to the re-use of your data in the context of this research, at any time and without having to justify yourself, by sending your request to opposition.recherche@curie.fr.Â
Information and consent
In addition to the information given to you verbally, Institut Curie provides you with documentary resources to help you deal with the various situations and issues you may encounter during your treatment.Â
