LOUISE MOAL

I am currently an intern at UMR 9187 under the supervision of Daniela Verga and Benoit Arnould. My internship project focuses on the structural and spatial exploration of snoRNAs.

During this internship, I aim to investigate snoRNA structures involved in oncogenic processes. To achieve this, I will employ the DMS-MaPseq biochemical approach, which includes in cellulo RNA chemical modification, preparation of custom Illumina libraries, and sequencing data analysis. Structures will be predicted using in silico methods. The RNAs of interest will subsequently undergo spatial exploration via FISH and high-resolution microscopy.

My internship is part of the BioProbe Paris-Saclay complementary program, preceding my Master 2 degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a specialization in Oncology at Paris-Saclay University.
