MELANIE REIS

Mélanie holds a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutics and Biopharmacy and is currently pursuing her PhD within UMR9187 at the Institut Curie.

She is developing innovative nanoparticles (polymeric nanoparticles, liposomes, and lipid nanoparticles) designed to encapsulate ionizing-radiation-activatable anticancer theranostic prodrugs. She also evaluates their therapeutic effects in vivo and in vitro in the context of pancreatic cancer.

Her research is carried out under the supervision of Dr. Pierre-Marie Girard and Dr. Guillaume Bort, within the team led by Florence Mahuteau-Betzer.
