Mounira Amor-Guéret holds a PhD in Genetics (1982, Doctorat de 3ème cycle, Paris 6 University) and a “Doctorat d’Etat es-Sciences Naturelles” (1987, Paris 6 University). She is an Emeritus Research Director at the CNRS. She was the head of the “Genetic Instability and Carcinogenesis” Team from December 1990 to December 2022. She directed the “Genotoxic Stress and Cancer” Unit (UMR3348 CNRS/Institut Curie/Université Paris Sud-Paris Saclay) for 10 years (2010-2019). She was also deputy director/coordinator of the Orsay site of the Institut Curie Research Center for more than 12 years (January 2010-March 2022). She was a member of the Scientific Committee of the Oncology Doctoral School (ED 418, Paris-Saclay / Gustave Roussy) (2012-2022), and co-coordinator of the Cancer division of Interdisciplinary program HEALTHI of the University Paris-Saclay (« HEALth and THerapeutic Innovation » Interdisciplinary Action) (2018-2022). She is also a member of the National Consultative Ethics Committee for Health and Life Sciences (CCNE), appointed by the Director General of the CNRS (Official Journal, Decree of September 27th, 2016, renewal of the mandate, Decree of February 3rd, 2021), and is member of the National AIDS & Viral Hepatitis Council (CNS), appointed by the President of the CCNE (Official Journal, decree of August 30th, 2019, renewal of the mandate, Decree of June 30th 2022).
