ROMAIN DAVID SEBAN

Romain David Seban is a physician specializing in nuclear medicine at the Institut Curie (Saint-Cloud Hospital) since 2018. He carries out both clinical and research missions, combining patient care with the development of innovative approaches in molecular imaging.

His research focuses on molecular imaging in breast cancer and is structured around several key themes:

• the exploration of new imaging targets such as FAP, AR, ER, and GRPR;
• the study of the tumor microenvironment, including metabolism, stroma, and immunity;
• the application of these approaches to specific phenotypes, particularly triple-negative breast cancer and lobular breast cancer;
• the development of theranostic perspectives, notably through targeted radionuclide therapy.

Committed to clinical and translational research, Dr. Seban actively contributes to the integration of new imaging techniques and targeted therapies to advance personalized breast cancer treatment. He is also an active member of the Women’s Cancer Institute, where he participates in the development of multidisciplinary approaches in oncology.
