Presentation
My research topics are:
- Active matter and topological defects in active nematics.
- Mechanics of the hearing receptor cells: Active process and Hopf bifurcations; Modeling of the transduction apparatus; Coupling of mechano-transduction channels; Hydrodynamic interactions and stochastic dynamics within the mechano-sensitive organelle.
- Tissue mechanics and tumor growth: Instabilities of growing aggregates. Deterministic and stochastic epithelial instabilities. Competition between tissues and mechanisms of tumor growth.
