VALENTINE GAUTHIER

After completing a PharmD at the Paris-Sud/Paris Saclay university, I carried on with a PhD in the Tumor Microenvironment Department at the Barts Cancer Institute (Queen Mary University) in London in Dr. Oliver Pearce's team. My research was funded by Cancer Research UK and focused on targeting the tumour extracellular matrix to reactivate T cell infiltration in triple-negative breast cancer. I am currently a post-doctoral fellow in Dr. Hélène Salmon's team entitled “Stroma and Immunity” at the Institut Curie's U932 Immunity and Cancer Unit in Paris. My work focuses on the functional analysis of subepithelial fibroblasts in tissue repair after radiotherapy in lung cancer.
