Cristina is Scientific Writer and Funding Specialist at the Research Center of Institut Curie, in the Direction Team. She received her Ph.D. at the F.I.R.C. Institute of Molecular Oncology, Milan, in the group of Prof. Pier Paolo Di Fiore, working on endocytosis and cell signaling. She continued her academic training as a postdoctoral associate in the group of Dr. Eros Lazzerini Denchi at the Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla, CA, studying telomere biology and DNA damage. At Curie, Cristina provides personalized support in grant applications to principal investigators (PIs) at the Research Center. Her focus is on helping junior PIs in their first grant applications, on European Research Council (ERC) grants and on collaborative grant proposals involving multiple teams at the Institute or several research institutes. She also organizes and teaches workshops on how to apply to the ERC Starting and Consolidator grants at Institut Curie and with partners from the EU LIFE alliance.
