Urogenital cancers

Cancers urogénitaux

What are urogenital cancers?

Urogenital cancers mainly include prostate cancer, as well as cancer of the kidneys, bladder, and testicles. These cancers are brought about by multiple pathologies, and each of them is the subject of an adapted treatment.

Prostate cancer is a frequent occurrence in men. It affects around 60,000 men every year in the older age groups. Urogenital cancers of the kidneys, bladder and testicles are rarer.

Women are half as affected as men by kidney cancer, and account for 20% of bladder cancer cases.
