DIMITRI TZANIS

Dr. Dimitri Tzanis is a specialist practitioner in the Department of Oncology Surgery. He is former head of the University Clinic at the faculty of Paris-former Assistant of the hospitals of Paris and Doctor of Sciences.

He specializes in visceral and cancer surgery and practices surgery of complex sarcomas and tumors and cancer digestive surgery (gastrointestinal tract surgery, hepatobiliary and peritoneal carcinomatosis/CHIP) conventional and Minimal invasiveness. He is actively involved in clinical and translational research in the fields of sarcomas and digestive oncology.

He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the French Association of Surgery (AFC), member of the French sarcoma group (GSF-GETO), of the French Society of Oncology Surgery (CFSO), of the School of Sarcomas of the European Society of Oncology Surgery ( ESSO), the Transatlantic Working Group of Surgeons of Retroperitoneal sarcomas (TARPSWG).
