This year, 5 new PhD positions are open at Institut Curie in the frame of the IC-3i International PhD Program. Deadline for applications February 10th, and start in October 2019.

37 PhD students have already joined Institut Curie in the frame of the IC-3i International PhD Program.

  • 12 in 2016 (9 nationalities)
  • 13 in 2017 (9 nationalities)
  • 12 in 2018 (10 nationalities)

I have always desired a competitive work-space with cutting edge research facilities surrounded by the best minds in our field of work; I have also wanted to have a good quality of life outside work where I can develop my interests and hobbies and have fun in my free time. Institute Curie in France is providing me the best of both worlds and for that I shall be eternally grateful to it.

This program provides PhD students with a 3-year fellowship, a high level interdisciplinary, inter-sectorial, and international training with dedicated career development plans, secondments and mentoring. PhD research projects in life sciences cover Institut Curie’s main research domains:

  • Biology & Chemistry of Radiations, Cell Signaling & Cancer
  • Development, Cancer, Genetics & Epigenetics
  • Integrative Tumour Biology, Immunology & Environment
  • Multiscale Physics-Biology-Chemistry & Cancer

Moreover PhD students benefit from a personalized career development plan : courses and training programs related to their research subject and those of Institut Curie, as well as specific courses on cutting-edge techniques, soft skills courses and public engagement activities.
