Presentation

As an Assistant Professor in Cell Biology at Sorbonne Université, I divide my time between the laboratory and the Jussieu campus, where most of my teaching takes place. My research centres on the subcellular architecture of the secretory pathway in radial glial cells (RGCs)—the neural stem cells of the developing cerebral cortex responsible for generating the majority of neurons and glial cells. A central focus of my work is uncovering how components of the extracellular matrix (ECM) are locally modified (e.g. via glycosylation) and secreted from the basal process of RGCs, despite their exceptionally elongated and polarised structure.
