Chromatin and RNA splicingPresentation
From 2015 to 2019 I did a PhD thesis in Molecular Biology. I worked on the nuclear degradation of aberrant RNAs which led me to learn NGS analysis. Following the obtenition of my PhD, I flew to Sweden to do a post-doc in a team of theoretical chemists at the University of Gothenburg. We worked with computational approches to study the mechanisms of DNA deformation following the binding of one or more transcription factors. Our multi-scales approaches (from the atomic scale to the genome wide), allowed us to understand some important mechanisms about the initiation of transcription.
I am now in Reini Luco's team at the Institut Curie, where we work on the link(s) between EMT/epigenetic modification/alternative splicing. Using data from ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, RNA-seq we seek to better understand the fundamental mechanisms of splicing regulation that govern the transition of cells from the epithelial to mesenchymal stage.
