MARTHE LAISNE

Research - Paris

Presentation

I received my Ph.D. in 2021, specializing in the epigenetics of cancer cells. I have directed my career towards academic research and in 2022, I joined the Institut Curie for a post-doctoral position in the Vallot lab.

My expertise continues to focus on non-genetic cancer evolution, with a particular emphasis on early anomalies in pre-tumoral cells in the context of BRCA1-deficient breast cancer. My goal is to understand and intercept the evolution of tumors at an early stage. My work encompasses a variety of models, including single-cell transcriptomic and epigenomic approaches, murine and organoid models, as well as human data analysis.
