Presentation

I’m Samuele Lipani – a passionate physicist and data scientist dedicated to unraveling the complexities of the natural world through advanced computational methods and interdisciplinary research. Born in a small town in Sicily, my fascination with natural phenomena sparked early on and has driven my academic and professional journey ever since.

Currently, I’m pursuing a PhD at Institut Curie in Paris in Antoine Coulon's team, where I investigate the non-equilibrium polymer modeling of chromosome dynamics upon gene induction. This cutting-edge work, positioned at the intersection of polymer physics and biophysics, reflects my broader research interests in chromatin dynamics, complex systems, biophysics and statistical physics.

When I’m not immersed in research, I enjoy reading, art, and animation—interests that continually enrich my creative approach to solving scientific challenges.
