SHIVAKSHI SULEKH

I am a postdoctoral researcher at Institut Curie. Here, at Bardin lab I am investigating the fundamental rules of cancer initiation. My research journey has spanned diverse fields, from wastewater management and plant science to HIV detection techniques. However, during my PhD at RIKEN, Japan, I discovered my passion for Drosophila research. There, I uncovered a feedback loop between cell death and proliferation and refined my skills in fly pushing. With this diverse scientific background, I have found an organism I truly enjoy working with and am committed to exploring its potential to advance our understanding of cancer initiation.
