Marc-Henri Stern received his doctorate in medicine and his doctorate in Sciences (immunology) from the universities of Paris. After his postdoctoral training at N.C.I. (USA), he began his research team at Saint Louis Hospital, Paris, on leukemogenesis and DNA repair defects.
He joined the Curie Institute in 2000, joining the Inserm U830 unit led by Dr. Olivier Delatte and the Oncogenetics unit led by Prof. Dominique Stoppera-Lyonnet. He continues with his team the analysis of adult tumours, including breast and ovarian carcinomas and uveal melanoma, and the different pathologies related to DNA repair anomalies, ranging from fundamental to diagnosis Through translational research.
