Meryem studies on the stem cell niche regulation in homeostasis and cancer.
She did her PhD at Institut Pasteur Paris under the supervision of Dr. Shahragim Tajbakhsh.
After completing her PhD, she joined the lab of Dr. Tae-Hee Kim at SickKids,Toronto, Canada as a postdoctoral fellow.
In 2021, she joined the lab of Dr. Danijela Matic-Vignjevic at Institut Curie, Paris.
