Uveal melanoma research

Patient care and uveal melanoma research are closely linked. It is necessary to work together on:

  • the genetic causes of the disease, in particular predisposition genes
  • the fight against metastatic relapse, one of the main risks of the disease
  • developing biomarkers to assess the efficacy of immunotherapies such as tebentafusp or anti-PD1
  • the design of new immunotherapy strategies for patients insensitive to tebentafusp
  • participation in major international clinical trials
  • development of new radiological criteria for treatment efficacy
  • or the development of therapeutic vaccines, notably on the trail of a mutation likely to make melanomas more visible to the immune system.
