The project
The candidate will contribute to the bioinformatic analysis of high-throughput omics data generated across multiple molecular and cellular biology research projects within the laboratory. This includes the processing, exploration, and interpretation of omics datasets (including RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, and ATAC-seq) in close collaboration with experimental teams.
Additional responsibilities include:
Designing and implementing analysis pipelines tailored to specific data types and biological hypotheses,
Generating data visualizations, reports, and summaries suitable for interpretation by biologists,
Contributing to the dissemination of results through publications, figure generation, and data deposition.
Training and Skills required
The candidate should hold a PhD
The candidate should have at least 5 years experience in bioinformatic analysis
The candidate should be able to perform data mining from various databases (genomics, proteomics, pathologies, organisms evolution) and be able to combine datasets from available datasets and produced omic data in the host team to generate dedicated data sets for research projects in the host team
The candidate should have expertise and experience in multiomics analysis from bulk and single cell data sets. This includes:
·       gene expression analysis s including transcripts identification and splicing analysis
·       ChIP-Seq analysis
·       Chromatin chromatin organization (ATAc-Seq, nuclease sensitivity, Hi-C)
Abilities
Deep understanding of biological processes associated with epigenetics, chromatin organization and dynamics ans spatial organization of the genome in mamalian cells
Â
The candidate should be autonomous and in permanent liase with biologists of the team to report and discuss findings
