Presentation
I am a physicist by training, with an interest in the physics of biological systems at the molecular scale. In the team of Pascal Martin, I am currently working on the spontaneous appearance of oscillations in minimal actomyosin systems.
Previously, during my Ph. D. in the group of Carlos Bustamante (University of California, Berkeley), I both developed fluorescent tags and quantitative methods for super-resolution microscopy, and also investigated the dynamics of transcription elongation by single RNA polymerases using optical tweezers. During my post-doc in the group of Laurent Cognet (Institut d'Optique, Bordeaux), I used carbon nanotubes as near-infrared fluorophores to probe the topography and rheology of the extracellular matrix in brain and liver tissue.
