Presentation

Flavia is from Rome, and earned her Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine from the University of Rome. Her thesis project focused on ubiquitylation processes underlying the regulation of the Hedgehog pathway. After being awarded the international mobility grant from the French National Cancer Institute, she joined the laboratory in 2020 as a postdoctoral associate. Her work aims at characterizing enzymes of ubiquitination and deubiquitination implicated into medulloblastoma tumorigenesis. In parallel, she is also interested in pediatric brain tumor modeling through multi-omics data integration methods and proteomic-based approaches.
