Presentation

Henri Ver Hulst holds a master in physics engineering (Université Libre de Bruxelles) and a master in theoretical physics (Université Paris-Saclay). At the Institut Curie, he works as a PhD student on the development of a numerical model for the sensory organ of the ear, the cochlea, both with Pascal Martin team and Pierre Sens team. The model describes the sensory tissue of the cochlea as a chain of oscillator with one degree of freedom. The  aim of the PhD thesis is to study the effect of coupling and noise on the chain of oscillators in order to improve the description of the cochlear waves.
