Functions within Institut Curie
Presentation
After my training in biosciences in the ENS (Lyon, France), I joined the INSERM unit 1064 (team D. Laplaud, Nantes, France), to study T cell implication, especially CD8 T cells, in the physiopathology of multiple sclerosis. More specifically, I was interested in the shared TCR repertoire between blood, cerebrospinal fuid and brain of patients. I also studied the implication of Mucosal Associated T (MAIT) cells - numerous T cells with the same specificity for bacterial metabolites - in this disease. I then joined the Institut Curie (team O. Lantz, Centre d'immunothérapie, U932, Paris, France) to pursue my research on the immunological properties of MAIT cells, both at steady state, and during pathology. Altogether, I now have a strong background in immunology, especially the biology of T cells, both in basic and translational studies. During these experiences, I supervised trainees, both medical doctors and scientific fellows, from L3 to PhD students, as well as technician/ingenieer collaborators.
