The genomics platform is a service platform open to collaboration with teams from various backgrounds. Created in 2001, it provides expertise and tools to facilitate DNA and RNA molecular analyses according to teams’ needs, the specificities of original samples, and analyses.
The platform proposes their expertise and services in the genomics domain. Thanks to an open and dynamic team, the platform facilitates genomic analyses, applies the most adapted approaches to requests, and delivers exhaustive and verified results as quickly as possible.
The genomics platform uses medium to high debit technological tools to analyse the genome structure, expression and regulation of genes in different organisms; cell models and healthy and pathological tissues (tumors or others).
The genomics platform has acquired proven expertise in analysing precious and complex samples that contributes to the evolution of genome analysis practices. In this way, the platform participates in molecular characterisation of fresh, frozen or fixed samples.
The platform analyses samples in the frame of clinical trials in cancer and rare diseases and, as such, takes part in the establishment of molecular signatures that enable the improvement of patient monitoring and treatment. The platform is also an back up platform for Prosigna tests (breast cancer molecular typing).
The platform is also involved in international projects and collaborations with public and private partners. A recent collaboration with Prédilife, a society developing innovative solutions to predict pathology risk, led to the establishment of new-generation genetic tests for the prediction of breast cancer risk (Test MammoRisk, Saghatchian M, et al. Breast Cancer Res Treat. 2022. doi: 10.1007/s10549-021-06445-8).
In order to offer innovative analyses, the platform is also involved in implementing and even developing new techniques to reply to requirements.
Current services are :
- Advice in genomics
- Sample preparation (cryo-section, purification of nucleic acids)
- Quality control of nucleic acids
- Genomic analyses
- Targeted transcriptomic analyses (molecular signatures)
- Analyses of the regulation of gene expression, methylation, chromatine conformation, etc.
