Functions within Institut Curie:

Mounira Amor-Guéret holds a PhD in Genetics (1982, Doctorat de 3ème cycle, Paris 6 University) and a “Doctorat d’Etat es-Sciences Naturelles” (1987, Paris 6 University). She is a Research Director at the CNRS and Head of the “Genetic Instability and Carcinogenesis” Team. She directed the “Genotoxic Stress and Cancer” Unit (UMR3348 CNRS/Institut Curie/Université Paris Sud-Paris Saclay) for 10 years (2010-2019). She was also deputy director/coordinator of the Orsay site of the Institut Curie Research Center for more than 12 years (January 2010-March 2022). She is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Oncology Doctoral School (ED 418, Paris-Saclay / Gustave Roussy) (since 2012), and co-coordinator of the Cancer division of Interdisciplinary program HEALTHI of the University Paris-Saclay (« HEALth and THerapeutic Innovation » Interdisciplinary Action) (since 2018). She is also a member of the National Consultative Ethics Committee for Health and Life Sciences (CCNE), appointed by the Director General of the CNRS (Official Journal, Decree of September 27th, 2016, renewal of the mandate, Decree of February 3rd, 2021), and was member of the National AIDS & Viral Hepatitis Council (CNS) (September 2019-December 2021), appointed by the President of the CCNE (Official Journal, decree of August 30th, 2019).
