Supportive care for gynecological cancers

In addition to medical treatments for gynecological cancers, Institut Curie offers support care as part of the overall management of its patients: psychological and social support, rehabilitation, nutritional support, pain management, adapted physical activity, etc.

Women affected by gynecological cancer are at risk of having after-effects on their sex life. Institut Curie therefore offers consultations on sexology within its therapeutic education unit, as well as workshops dedicated to intimate life and sexuality. 

These consultations help women to better understand the pre-treatment, treatment, and post-treatment of gynecological cancer and its consequences.
