Institut Curie is a major player in research and the fight against cancer. Institut Curie is made up of 3 entities: a hospital, a research center and a headquarters, with altogether more than 1000 employees with a strong international representation. The SIREDO center is the first center in France entirely dedicated to cancers in children , adolescents and yound adults under 25 years of age  and integrating research and care. Within SIREDO,  more than 70 scientists, 5 research teams, around fifty caregivers work together to accelerate the fight against cancers affecting young people, with a single objective: to cure more young patients. As such, the SIREDO center now wishes to further strengthen research with its international partners.

The recruited person will report hierarchically to the Director of the SIREDO center, with a close link with the deputy director for translational research, the deputy director for innovation, clinical research and teaching, and the SIREDO manager. The recruited person will carry out their duties at the Institut Curie Research Center, in close collaboration with existing structures.

 

>Together with institutional structures, exercise strategic monitoring of funding sources and international, European or other mechanisms, in particular Horizon Europe, but also on other international mechanisms

 

>Meet the research teams to learn about their research topics and funding needs; contribute to the analysis of current or future projects to detect potential projects that could be the subject of applications for calls for projects

 

> Promote the development of new international research and innovation projects by strengthening links between teams and partners at European or international level

 

>Coordinate and actively contribute to applications for calls for projects and international funding, ensuring the drafting of projects together with the supporting teams, including for scientific, budgetary, administrative and communication aspects

 

>Coordinate the monitoring of European or international projects, together with scientific teams, and ensure scientific reports.

PhD in oncology

- Experience and/or training in project management

- Excellent level in English

- Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational and adaptation skills

-This is an 36 month full-time position (18 months renewable).

-Salary is commensurate with experience per the Institut Curie postdoctoral scale.

-This position will be based on our laboratory/office setting in Institut Curie – Paris

 

Contract Informations

 Type of contract: COD- Limited Term Contract

Start date: As soon as possible

Contract duration: 18 months renewable

Working hours: Full time.

Possibility of “Tele-working”

Remuneration: in accordance with current salary scales.
